Welcome to TDL’s newest segment. For a bit of fun and to delve into the minds of our intelligent debaters, we’re conducting a series of interviews. My first two
victim’s interviewees are RPC and Disposable Zero. Both have had a significant impact on TDL and will not doubt continue to do so in the future.
You are all more than welcome to comment, but please keep the spam to a minimum.
Disposable Zero
First we have the charming, quick witted Disposable Zero. *Queue thunderous applause* Thanks again for agreeing to this interview DZ. I’m sure your fans will be thrilled with this exclusive.
DZ: Oh yeah, all three of them will be
ecstatic . It's hard work keeping the baying masses pleased, but this should work well. So thanks for having me.
Aussie: Now, now, don't sell yourself short mate. I counted at least four. You seem to handle fame well though.
You made a successful debut at TDL's last show, Final Battle, however I'm sure the victory was bittersweet as your opponent failed to compete. Any thoughts?
DZ: Four? Awesome. Total and utter world domination can't be far behind.
As for my Final Battle triumph, it depends on how you look at it. Sure, you can view it as half a win due to the lack of competition. Me? I prefer to see the no-show as my opponent locking himself in a dark room and weeping after realizing that he has no chance. Ever. At anything.
So it was all win. Keep it deluded and you'll always be satisfied.
Aussie: You're not as far as you think. Get to ten and you'll reach Powertrip levels. Kind of a scary thought though because Mac and Isaac dominating everything is more than enough.
That's an interesting way to view your victory...although I'm not sure how far delusion will take you. On the other hand, it took TLK to a victory so it could work (Greg did you honestly believe that I wouldn't take a shot at you?

<3). But not to take anything away, you do have a victory under your belt which is what's important.
Now however is Retribution and you will battle MoveMent in hopes of moving further up the Non-Wrestling Division rankings. However, defeating MoveMent isn't exactly an easy task, especially since he'll be itching for a victory after that hellacious MITB match. Do you have a strategy ready to go or are you going to wing it and hope for the best?
DZ: I wouldn't worry too much. My domination will be much better then the Powertrip's. It'll be a lot sexier. Sexination.
My ploy for Retribution will be like all my others. Just a few basic steps.
- Read topic.
- Kick it.
- Watch cartoons.
- Pwn bitches.
It's a killer system. The "Disposable Zero Formula for Ass Kickery" is flawless. I perfected it alongside the Ancient Monks of Procrastination. MoveMent just won’t be able to handle these minutes of tradition and honing. That's perfectly understandable. Few can. And by few, I assume I mean none.
All should fear it.
It has
indie cred.
Aussie: I think I’ll take the smart approach and let the Powertrip deal with that comment.
I have to admit, I have never seen this kind of tactic used before, but regardless of how you picked up your first win, it seemed to have worked. I’m guessing the cartoon watching is the key right? We’ll have to wait and see if MoveMent is able to handle your intimidating tactics.
Speaking of which, do you have any comments for your Retribution opponent?
DZ: You're right, it's all in the cartoon. Transformers, Futurama, most Cartoon Network and [adult swim] shows... All good choices. Old school Muppet Show can fly too. The Swedish Chef inspires brilliance on most levels.
MoveMent? Honestly, I don't have anything beyond pleasantries for him at the moment. I can't be bothered coming up with a clever play on words involving his name. I'll save that gold mine for another time. For now I'd rather appear all aloof and nonchalant.
Aussie: Damn I was kind of hoping for an unprovoked attack of sorts...you're not making this any fun for me.

Then again, we can't all be cool, calm and collected!
Anyway since we're pretty close to finishing this up, I have a few more very quick questions for you. Is that ok?
DZ: Sorry about that. I promise to be filled with rage if I ever get to actually posting around WR.
And yeah, sure. Fire at will.
Aussie: Good. I'll hold you to that.
Alright, other than your own, which debate are you most looking forward to at Retribution?
DZ: AMP vs. Diesel. Diesel promised that they
will tear the house down, and what can I say? Bold italics get my motor running.
That and TLK vs. Issac just to see if TLK can live up to his name.
(Unprovoked attack rit. That be better?)
Aussie: Now that's more like it.
TDL's biggest standout (excluding yourself of course)?
DZ: Well... uh... I suppose Mr. Monty, largely for the things outside the debates themselves. You can have the best competition around but if there's nothing to keep people amused in between the duels of epicness a place is as good as snuffed. The fact that he makes for a good read in a debate helps too.
Aussie: Nice choice.
If you had a choice of opponent to debate, in any division, who would it be?
DZ: Anyone from the non-wrestling division really. I'm pretty easy. As long as the topic's good, I'll be amused.
Aussie: Typical Australian laid back attitude there.
Describe yourself in three words.
DZ: I'm terrible at describing myself (srsly. you should see my myspace 'About Me' section), so I asked my roommate.
Redundant, lemon-scented.
Aussie: Your roommate thinks you're lemon-scented?
What's the best part of TDL?
DZ: He's not the most reliable source of information.
The overall character of TDL is pretty nifty. There's some pretty nice touches to the whole shebang.
Instilling fear and awe into the minds of the admiring public is good too. The world really does need more DZ, so TDL dolling that hit out is pretty great.
Aussie: It's reliable enough for me.
With the Powertrip, TLK & Monty at the helm, instilling fear is no problem.
You say the world needs more DZ, so what's the one thing you bring to TDL that no one else does?
DZ: Blatant stupidity wrapped in intelligent and thoughtful consideration.
Aussie: That's an interesting way to describe it to say the least.
Well that’s pretty much a wrap as the only question I have left is whether you’re a boxers or briefs man. However considering that 99% of the TDL roster are males, it seems pointless asking.
Thanks again for joining me for our newest segment. It was a pleasure.
DZ: T'was an honor being involved. Thanks again for having me.
Oh, and neither.
Aussie:

RPC
Next is a man who needs no introduction...but he's getting one anyway. One of the toughest debaters on the TDL roster, please welcome RPC *Standing Ovation*.
Thanks for joining us RPC, it's a pleasure to conduct this interview with you.
RPC: I know it is. But where is my theme music and fireworks? Actually it doesn't matter, you guys at the TDL should be honored to have me on the inaugural show.
Aussie: Monty's responsible for the glitz and glamour of TDL so you'll have to take up your lack of theme music and pyros with him.
Anyway, we better move on before Monty comes back and kicks my ass again.

. Your confidence in yourself astounds me, yet your record is currently sitting at 1 win and 2 losses with the most recent loss being against a debuting Pac at Final Battle. Is this all part of an ingenious game plan, or is this perhaps an early showing of weakness?
RPC: It's politics man. 'The man' is obviously trying to hold me back. They don't want another brotha to shine in the TDL. I mean come on now. My first match was with DDMac former champ. What the shit? And even then I took the man to the limit. Obviously the votes were rigged but it's all good. Those two loses mean nothing. And losing to Pac only made me more focused then before.
Aussie: 'The Man' isn't holding you back and trust me, if the votes were rigged I'd be sitting here the Non-Wrestling Division champ.

However I can assure you that no one doubts your ability. You excel in taking your opponents to the limit as you put it. You do take an interesting stance on your two losses which some may perceive as arrogant while others will note that this is purely your determination.
So now with Retribution coming up, you've been given a break from competing. Your thoughts on being left off the card and also is there anyone in particular you'll have your eye on, possibly as a future opponent?
RPC: I'd like a rematch against DDMac. I believe taking him out will prove that I'm Wrestling Division Champ material.
Aussie: Wow, ladies and gentlemen you've heard the challenge issued and you'll only hear it here. Guess it's a matter of whether Mac steps up and answers the challenge.
We're pretty close to wrapping this up but I'll throw out a few quick questions for ya to bring this home if that's alright?
RPC: go right ahead.
Aussie: Great! Ok the match you're most looking forward to reading at Retribution?
RPC: Isaac vs. TLK is automatic **** debate.
Aussie: Popular choice. Let's hope they live up to the hype.
TDL's biggest standout, other than yourself?
RPC: That J.M. guy is undefeated right?
Aussie: For now he is still undefeated. That may change after Mac gets through with him though.
Speaking of Mac, you did mention you were after a rematch with him, but is there anyone you haven't debated against that you'd like to in the future?
RPC: Movement in a hip-hop debate would surely be classic. Sadly we're in different divisions.
Aussie: Very interesting. If you ever wanted it to happen, just say the word and we can arrange that for you.
Describe yourself in three words.
RPC: The Best Ever
Aussie: That's what I like to see, straight to the point.
What do you think is the best part of TDL?
RPC: The level of talent on the roster. There aren't any real weak debaters at all. Anyone can win on any given night.
Aussie: I couldn’t agree more. The talent TDL has is astounding.
What is the one thing you bring to TDL that no one else does?
RPC: A real personality of my own.
Aussie: Very nice.
That's pretty much all I have for questions. I appreciate you taking the time to do this, it's been a pleasure.

Is there anything you would like to tell your adoring fans before we finish up?
RPC: RPC will be your next Wrestling Division Champion.
Aussie: Strong words there.
Thanks again and good luck for your future TDL career.
