Shelton won't go to the main event probably ever. He doesn't have the 'special' attribute that other current main eventers seem to have. But then again, weirder things have happened.

Shelton seems like such a misused wasted talent now.
I remember his '04-'05 run. Showed flashes of brilliance but now he's just "one of those guys."

That was when I was a relatively new fan and had no idea how to pick a winner. It was also the first time I had been on a form. Everyone was picking either Christian or Edge, much to my confusion. I really do wish Shelton had won.
