WWE Section Rules: Revamped **READ**
These are the official rules for the WWE Sections of this site. All are expected to know and understand all of these. If you don't understand any of these speak to a member of the staff. Thanks. It makes our and your life easier if you just follow the rules, if you proceed to disobey these rules, you know the consequences.
Let’s start with the threads:
****
Stickied Threads
Sticky threads are used for topics that are considered "hot", so to speak and are used to avoid multiple threads on the same topic. The main use of stickies in the WWE Section are for Show and PPV discussion threads. This is just a reminder that if a Pay-Per-View event is already stickied, keep everything in relation to thread in there. There is no need to make a topic over something that could be discussed about in the stickied thread.
Repeated Threads
This is referring to creating threads that have already been made by someone else. This happens, and I understand that, but try to avoid it. Make a habit of taking a look around the section to see if a similar discussion or dirt sheet/spoiler all ready exists before you make a thread. All repeated threads will be closed and if you make a habit of creating these threads you will be warned.
Bumping Threads
Bumping is when you post in a thread that hasn't had a post in quite a while, thus "bumping" it back to the first page. I will set a cut off of 7 days for this. So basically, if a thread hasn't been posted in for 7 days, don't post in it! I understand that there is some digression with this, some threads make sense to be bumped, but not many, be smart about it. If I see threads bumped that are no longer relevant, you will be warned.
------------------
Double Posting
This one is self explanatory, don't make 2 (or more) consecutive posts in the same thread. To avoid this, utilize the edit post option, that is what it is there for. Sometimes this happens by accident, if that does occur, edit your second post to say "sorry, double post" or something like that. Repeated double posters will be dealt with accordingly.
**Spoilers**
Spoilers may now be posted in it's own appropriate section, i.e. Raw superstar suspended should go in it's proper sub-forum (Raw). Yeah, you get the jist. Spoilers are now used more freely then ever now so if you aren't someone who likes being possibly spoiled by internet reports, my advice would be to avoid anything that seems even remotely like an internet report title/starter. You people really have to expect being spoiled on an online wrestling forum either way. It happens.
Spamming
Spamming is any sort of meaning less posting that appears to be nothing more than someone trying to get there post count up. Don't respond to threads with 1 word, this is spam! I’ve been trying my best to clean up some of the spam that is occurring daily and there has to be a stop to it. No useless one-liners or smiley posts, at least post decently to keep the discussion going. There is absolutely no reason to spam. If you proceed to spam, you’ll be warned.
General Forum Rules
Please note, all of the general forum rules regarding advertising, flaming, etc. Everyone should know how this rule system and how it works and it’s not any different. No need for profanity towards other members, just try to keep this section clean as possible.
That is about it for now. I'll edit these as more rules and notes are needed. Again, be aware of these. I don't want to have to warn any of you.
Thanks, and enjoy.
