Looks like a good event, would of rather like Antonio Silva to face of against Kimbo instead of just feeding him easy opponents. Baroni vs. Ninja should be really interesting, I hope Baroni will be better then his last fight with Hose. Gina Carano always good to have on the card and Scott Smith vs. Robbie Lawler should be an action packed fight.
Has the potential to be really good imo.

Crowd-pleasing Joey Villasenor of Albuquerque, N.M., will replace Murilo "Ninja'' Rua on the EliteXC Saturday, May 31 fight card at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
Villasenor, who has won two straight, including a sensational first-round knockout over Ryan Jensen on March 29, will face Phil Baroni in one of five fights on the inaugural primetime broadcast of "CBS ELITEXC SATURDAY NIGHT FIGHTS'' on CBS (9 p.m.-11 p.m ET/PT)

Would of rather liked Ninja vs. Baroni but I think this also could be an interesting match up.

Kimbo Slice = average.
EliteXC pretty much bombed with their last two fights.
That sucks. Oh well...we're now closer to UFC on freeTV.

I enjoyed the EliteXC show for the most part other then that announcer guy and the premature stoppages.
Young vs. Carano & Smith vs. Lawler were both pretty entertaining with alot of good back and forth action. Slice vs. Thompson was actually way better then I expected with Slice actually not being half bad on the ground but still he could use some work. Still though Smith could have kept going after that poke to the eye and Thompson could have taken a couple of more shots I think before it would have been over. Young vs. Carano made sense as Youngs face was pretty beat up especially under her one eye.
So was decent when I thought it was not going to be good at all and really looking forward to Noons vs. Edwards in a couple weeks time.

The ref stopped it to early probaly because he saw all the blood from Thompson's cauliflower ear. Kimbo was getting fucked in the second round the ref should of stopped it then.

Totally agree with you. Kimbo was getting pounded on for like 2 minutes straight and he was not defending himself at all. If it would have been any other fighter the fight probably would have been stopped.

Kimbo got dominated on the ground fight but was in no danger of getting beat the shots weren't very strong and he knew it. I hope that Kimbo and Bas go back and train even harder on the ground game so the next time Kimbo doesn't get dominated. Smith/ Lawler was a BS finish and Elite has got to be shaking there head at the finish.
