Nah, he's fighting in August in Minnesota.

I'm not sure if Lesnar/Coleman will be the main event though and if it is, there will probably be some backlash towards UFC. If Sherk beats Penn and says he can fight in August then I suspect he'll main event with the Lightweight Title being on the line.

I would be stunned if Lesnar vs Coleman was the main event.

I think they'll put Anderson Silva in another title match in July or August.

Putting them together on a card would be a good business move.

August would be the smart move considering July already has Griffin/Rampage.

Silva/Okami (the likely next fight for Silva) isn't going to draw too much considering no one gives a fuck about Okami but with the boost of Lesnar it should all even out.

Exactly. Silva vs Okami doesn't have much mass appeal. However, Brock Lesnar does. Maybe add Frank Mir's next fight on the same card.

You heard something....or you're suspecting?

Makes sense with Wedrum vs Vera scheduled. Besides Nog, anyone Mir faces would be a step-down.

But Nog vs Mir. That'd be a great fight, imo.

Little bit of both.

With Werdum fighting Vera, Lesnar fighting Coleman, Kongo losing, Arlovski leaving, Sylvia just losing to Nog, Herring losing 3 times to Nog, and Gonzaga just lost, Mir is about the only person who makes sense unless they want Nog to sit out for an extended period of time.

Also word is going around that UFC wants to go ahead and capitalize on Mir's win over Lesnar by giving him a title shot instead of risking him to a loss.

I only see two fights for Frank Mir, at this point.

Big Nog. Or Tim Sylvia.

And the former makes a ton more sense than the latter.
