Pretty good rating considering recent figures
Hopefully they can continue to go up with CM Punk as champion.
Young, fresh champions = ratings.

Punk isn't a draw, look at ECW after Punk won. They better not make him an underdog champ like Rey.

I am a Mysterio fan, but he had the worst run. The underdog thing was old, plus he was getting destroyed in every match. Having matches with Mark Henry and JBL did not help any.

Wonder how bad HHH's ego is going to bruise when he finds out Punk is a better draw then him.

HHH will be enjoying his 2.5 rating on Smackdown. He can take pleasure in making Raw drop down to 2.9 one show, too.

That was about a 100 years ago, Punk's easily more popular now, and it was the ECW title, on ECW. Comparing that to holding the WHC on Raw, and taking it off the top heel in the company, in one of the most memorable segments in a while, is simply fucking stupid.
We'll see if he's a draw in the coming weeks, who knows, but using the old ECW crap to try and work it out, is laughable.

He hasn't done much memorable since having the ECW title other than winning MITB up until his recent WHC run so I don't see how much could have changed especially since he was jobbing left and right, maybe that surprise factor will bring in more fans but I'll wait and see.

I would not watch ECW if Orton were champion there. ECW has a million viewers a week and the rest do not care.
