The ECW brand is where the younger performers ought to start out. Giving the younger performers a chance to compete against someone who is experienced should be a huge boost, and the brand can bring out the best in certain athletes... John Morrison is one imparticular who is doing well in ECW and could be a future upper-mid card or main eventer.
It can also be good for the older wrestlers amongst the brand too, wrestlers like Matt Hardy could boost their popularity by winning the major belt, and fighting off the upcoming heels A Hardy v Morrison feud would do both performers a world of good, and give them the popularity they wouldn't be able to get anywhere else.
