Well I have actully been very high on the ECW brand and it has become a very solid product as of late but I think people are missing one of the great things about the brand. Big Stars might look down at the brand but it the show has probalby one of the best purposes out of all. ECW is a place where people can reinvate themselfes and become biger stars then they once were. ECW is a place where people that probaly couldn't make it on SD or Raw could make it in ECW. Look at Hardcore Holly....He was a mean jobber on Raw but was looked at a a mean fighter on the ECW brand. Johhney Nitro was basically wasted talented on Raw untill he had a chance to reinvent himself on the ECW show and show that he isn't just another tag team wrestler. The guy had very great showings with Jeff Hardy but his push seemed to die after his Steel Cage match and the departion of his tag team partner Mercury. Now he is one of the head leaders of the ECW show and is now his own man/charater. Viscera is yet another wrestler that was wasted on Raw. He is now known a Big Daddy V, is finally getting seen as the athletic Big man he is, and the monster he can play. Stevie Richards was complained as one of the talents that had never or was going to be regonized talent but now he is not only getting a push but he is not the underdog in his rivalry. Many complain about not putting Punk on Raw or Smackdown and say he is better then the ECW brand but if he didn't begin on the ECW brand he might of been just a jobber. See people forget that sometimes skill is not what gets you to the top but sometimes the look and reaction is. CM Punk has about the same build as Stevie Richards and was a indy competitor which means he wasn't on any mainstream television unlike the WCW and ECW stars that are in the WWE. So that could of very backfired on Senior Punk in terms of reaction and thus leading him to jobberville. Lord only knows what might of happened to him if he was on the Raw or SD brand. On the ECW brand they booked him in Hamstein New york and for many of you that don't know ROH is a strong product in the city that never sleeps. ECW created him the opprotunity for him to be looked at as a top star instead of your fellow jobber. ECW has opened many doors for those that are being mistreated on the SD or Raw brand and the ECW brand has even opened doors for indy talent aswell. Point is ECW is the Home of Hope and can most likely be one of the best brands for raising any kind of talent.

I couldn't have seen Punk and Morrison coming this far so fast without the brand, I'll give you that. I guess it's the place where WWE test out guys they're quite not ready to use heavily on the other two brands.

Yes, ECW is the place for OVW guys before they are sent to other brands or it is the place for wrestlers to reinvent themselves like Shelton Benjamin. Some like Mike Know are just failures.

The problem is that I do not think the show is of good quality. Many "hardcore" fans are upset that Vince pissed all over their beloved brand.

Thanks for staying ON-TOPIC.

I personally think if ECW fans got what they wanted then WWE would have to deal with allot of injuries due to the ridiclous amount of hardcore matches. I think there is some real problems with the show but it is helping to build the young stars there into credible guys which is more positive then a negative.

I wrote this about a year ago so ehh on the key thing now and the crossfire thing that Cal or STEINER will never let me forget..
