Default PPV Steam

With the alarmingly hot cards that keep being handed to us this year, it appears like the PPV's keep picking up steam as each month rolls on. From the Backlash Card {Edge/'Taker, 4 Way, Batista/HBK} to our current Judgment Day card {Orton/HHH, JBL/Cena, HBK/Y2J}, is it just more ... or does it seem like this year could be the biggest peek in PPV quality since 2001/2002? Or is this thought premature??

I think it's a little premature, as there is always a chance that the injury bug could hit (or another steroid scandal, which leads to more suspensions), which would lead to crappy PPV cards. The PPV's haven't been awful, it's just a little premature, because you never know what will happen in the months ahead. I'd wait until after the Survivor Series to say that the PPV's have been hot this year.

I'm in a sense saying this will be the hottest year, not that it has been, because it hasn't.

I liked WrestleMania 24 loads, No Way Out looked entertaining {I have yet to see it however} and the Rumble was a good watch too. Haven't seen the entirety of Backlash yet so I'll hold back there but the matches have gotten some pretty neat ratings themselves. It just looks like the E is going into a steady steam of high quality as of late in regards to PPV; completely destroying the 2006 PPV schedule. The 08 JD & Backlash make 06's look laughable.

Oh okay, makes sense. I do know one thing is for certain, it will be better then last year.

I liked Wrestlemania 24 and The Royal Rumble. No Way Out was decent, although the WWE Championship match had a very crappy ending.

Really been enjoying this year PPV wise and JD has the potential to keep it going. Depending on how booking goes it could continue. But yeah, it's a little early since last year started off pretty good too besides NWO.
